This week’s Jersey Mike’s ‘Player of the Game’ for the week of May 12 is Christian County High School’s Avery Adcock. Avery was selected based on her performance Saturday as the Lady Colonels swept a doubleheader from Logan County on the final day of the softball regular season.
Avery finished the opening game 2-3 with a home run, an RBI, and two runs scored.
In her final regular season home game in the second game of the doubleheader, Avery hit her second home run of the day as part of a 3-3 effort. She had two RBIs and scored 4 runs.
The Jersey Mike’s ‘Player of the Game’ is selected each week from one of the five schools in Christian County (Christian County, Hopkinsville, University Heights, Christian County, and Fort Campbell) based on their performance in a big game or event for their team that week.
