The Lady Colonels advanced back to another championship game with a 16-0 three-inning win over Heritage Christian Monday evening at University Heights Academy.
Christian County scored six runs in the bottom of the first inning and then hung ten more on the scoreboard in the bottom of the second inning.
Jordan Turner was perfect for the three innings she was in the circle. She gave up no hits and struck out every batter she faced.
Avery Adcock had two home runs and drove in four runs to lead Christian County. B.B. Rodriguez was 3-3 with three runs driven in. Chloe Almy was 3-3 with an RBI. Jazzy Tejada was 1-2 with a home run, two RBIs, and two runs scored.
Heritage Christian ends the season at 6-9.
Christian County improves to 20-13 and advances to the 8th District championship game Tuesday evening. The Lady Colonels will take on University Heights Academy. The Lady Blazers outscored Fort Campbell 22-12.
