Avery Adcock has continued a Christian County softball tradition of a player being named the valedictorian of her graduating class.
On Wednesday, Adcock, who is also the class president, delivered the Baccalaureate address to the CCHS Class of 2025 then made her way across the street to University Heights Academy where she smacked a two-run home run as part of the Lady Colonels’ 16-0 win over UHA to claim the program’s 20th straight district softball title.
The home run was the 39th of her high school career and gave her four straight seasons of 50 hits or more.
Watch her first-inning laser, with a hang-time of 2.2 seconds, in this Max’s Moment.
