The Henderson County Lady Colonels will be heading back to the 2nd Region semifinals after a 16-0 win against the University Heights Lady Blazers in a three-inning game Monday at Webster County High School.

Henderson got their 16 runs due in no small part to 11 walks allowed by UHA, as well as six hits, including three extra-base hits.

Two players for Henderson finished with three runs batted in, those being Ayden Bennet and Mackenzie Burczyk.

While the Lady Blazers were not able to get a hit in the shortened game, they still had a couple of baserunners after they were hit by pitches. Ann Hampton and Katherine Wood got on base, with the latter getting a stolen base.

The Lady Colonels will face off with the Lady Maroons of Madisonville-North Hopkins in an effort to advance to the championship game for the fifth straight season to win their fifth straight 2nd Region title.
