It will be Friday brunch at the ballpark for the Lyon County Lyons this week. The Kentucky High School Athletic Association announced the starting times Friday for this week’s start of the state baseball tournament in Lexington.
The first four Round of 16 games will be played Thursday.
The last four first round games will be played Friday beginning at 10am with Lyon County taking on 1st Region champion McCracken County.
The winner of the Lyon County-McCracken County game would then play Saturday evening at 5pm against the winner of South Warren and Highlands.
All games are being played at Kentucky Proud Park.
The semifinals and championship games will be played the following Friday and Saturday. Times for those games have not been announced.
