Athletic teams across the area are not just exceptional on the court or on the field. Many of these outstanding young people involved in high school sports are also involved in many different ways in giving back to their school community and their community and are standing out in the classroom.
Those are the teams that are at the top of the list, or an ‘A-Team’ so to say. In this case, the Chick-fil-A ‘A-Team’. Teams that exhibit great core values like accountability, growth, respect to others, quality, and service.
Such is the case with the recent efforts of the cheerleaders at Todd County Central High School. The cheerleaders were up bright and early Saturday morning for a 10-mile trash pickup. A really great community-oriented activity to help keep their Todd County community clean.
This kind of community commitment is a perfect example of the kind of thing that makes the Todd County Central cheerleaders a great Chick-fil-A ‘A-Team.’
