A tough day for the Madisonville-North Hopkins Maroons at the Boys’ Team Tennis State Tournament Tuesday. The Maroon saw their season come to an end with a 3-0 loss to Owensboro Catholic in the opening round of the team event.
The Aces picked up three wins in the #1 doubles, #3 singles, and the #2 doubles to secure the overall team win in the best of five matches.
Owensboro Catholic advanced to take on Greenwood in the quarterfinal round of the touranment.
