On the heels of winning the school’s first championship in an event, the Dawson Springs 3200-meter relay team of Sean Stallins, Montgomery Johnston, Deacon Dever, and Easton Bourland earned First-Team All-State honors from the Kentucky Track and Cross Country Coaches Association.
They set a school record time of 8:09.63, besting the old mark by nearly 10 seconds. The four fastest times in program history were all run this season.
After their win, the guys talked about their win and what it means for a school without a track to win an event at the state track meet.
