For the third straight year, Stacy Crick will be expanding her golf coaching profile.
Tuesday morning, Hopkinsville High School Athletic Director Jacob Ezell announced that Crick was named the new head coach of the Tigers’ golf program. Crick, who is a school counselor at Christian County High School, currently leads the Colonels’ golf program and will continue in that role.
Crick was named the Christian County girls’ golf coach in 2023 after serving as an assistant coach with the program. Last year, she added the coaching duties of the boys’ program to her profile.
Crick played college golf at Belmont University and Brescia University and previously served as the assistant golf coach for boys and girls at CCHS from 2008 to 2009. She was the head girls’ golf coach at Hopkins County Central High School from 2012-2014.
“We are very excited to work with Coach Crick,” Ezell said in a media release. “She will be a great addition to the HHS Tiger athletics program. She has done great things with the CCHS program, and we’re looking forward to the same success and leadership here at Hopkinsville.”
Crick says her familiarity with Hopkinsville’s program will benefit her this fall.
“CCHS and HHS are often paired together in events, so in recent years, I’ve had the chance to get to know the Tiger team—and they’ve gotten to know me. I recognize their talent and look forward to helping develop their skills and build strong character on and off the course,” she said.
The district also announced that Natalie Riggs will join the coaching staff of both programs as an assistant coach.
Crick takes over the Hopkinsville program from Edwin White, who retired after last season.
