Caldwell’s Fairrow, Relay Teams Earn All-State Track Honors (w/VIDEO)

Fresh off the program’s fourth-place finish at the state track and field meet, Caldwell County saw one athlete and three of its relay teams earn All-State honors from the Kentucky Track and Cross Country Coaches Association.

Shane Fairrow finished in second place in the 100-meter dash to get First-Team All-State honors.

Fairrow also ran anchor leg on the state champion 800-meter relay team along with Gus Fox, Tre Copeland, and Xvaier Lee to earn First Team honors.

The same group earned Second Team All-State honors in the 400-meter dash, where they finished third at the state meet, and the 1600-meter relay team of  Copeland, Fox, Lee, and Elijha Kirby finished in fourth place to earn Second Team All-State honors.

After winning the 800-meter relay at the state meet, the team discussed its win in this YSE interview.
