Fort Campbell's 1600-meter relay team
Fort Campbell had a pair of relay teams earn All-State honors from the Kentucky Track and Cross Country Coaches Association on Wednesday.
The 800-meter relay team of Samuel Atoubi, Eric Greene, Mateo Cerritos Gatto, and Aiden Ward equaled Fort Campbell’s best finish at the Class 1A State track and Field Meet with a third-place finish in a season-best time of 1:30.46.
The 1600-meter relay team of Ward, Atoubi, Cerritos Gatto, and Andrew Bennett finished in third place at the state meet in 3:31.62.
Both teams earned Second-Team All-State from the KTCCCA.
