
The outstanding softball career of Christian County’s Avery Adcock has culminated with Class 3A First-Team All-State honors by the Kentucky Softball Coaches Association.
The University of Missouri signee hit .568 in 2025 – her third straight season that she finished at .500 or better. She hit 13 home runs and drove in 27 runs from the leadoff position while stealing 36 bases without being thrown out.
For her career, Adcock hit .482 with 39 home runs and 156 RBI. She had 55 doubles and stole 127 bases. While her 39 homers were the fourth most in school history, they rank as the sixth-most in Second Region history
While softball is not a classed sport in Kentucky, the state’s coaches use the three-class enrollment numbers from track and field to determine its All-State honors. Voting is conducted by members of the Kentucky Softball Coaches Association.
She will be recognized at next weekend’s East West Weekend in Bowling Green.
