Livingston Central saw four players and its coaching staff earn All-State Honors from the Kentucky Softball Coaches Association.
Eighth grader Addison Tramble earned Class 1A First Team All-State Honors and was named the 1A Player of the Year.
Tramble was 25-2 in the circle with a 1.34 ERA with 284 strikeouts in 166 innings. At the plate, she hit .352 with two home runs and 33 RBI.
In two seasons of varsity play, Tramble is 43-6 with 466 strikeouts.
Victoria Joiner was named First-Team All-State. The senior shortstop hit .448 with four home runs and 27 RBI. She was also a perfect 26 for 26 in stolen bases.
For her career, Joiner was a .459 hitter with 252 hits, 22 home runs, and was 96 out of 100 in stolen base attempts. Joiner’s 252 career hits are a Livingston Central school record and the fifth most in Second Region history. Her 66 doubles, also a school record, is tied for the fourth most in region history.
Junior Hadley Hargrove earned First-Team All-State honors. Despite battling a late-season injury, she still hit .519 with two homers and 37 RBI.
Hargrove has 164 career hits and 119 RBI.
Emersyn Ramage was named Second Team All-State. The senior catcher hit .430 with three homers and 32 RBI.
Ramage finished her career with a .439 batting average, 13 home runs, and 160 RBI.
Joiner and Ramage were also selected to play in the East-West All-Star Game next weekend in Bowling Green, while Hargrove was named to the Junior Team.
In addition, the Livingston Central coaching staff was voted the Class 1A Coaching Staff of the Year.
Under the direction of Matt Hargrove, the Lady Cardinals were 25-7, won a second straight All A Classic state championship, and advanced to the Second Region title game.
While softball is not a classed sport in Kentucky, the state’s coaches use the three-class enrollment numbers from track and field to determine its All-State honors. Voting is conducted by members of the Kentucky Softball Coaches Association.
They will be recognized at next weekend’s East West Weekend in Bowling Green.
