Webster’s Papineau Claims All-State Honorable Mention Honor

Chloe Papineau put the wraps on her Webster County softball career by earning Class 2A All-State Honorable Mention honors from the Kentucky Softball Coaches Association.

Papineau hit .375 for the Lady Trojans with seven home runs and 28 RBI.

In the circle, she was 8-13 with a 3.66 ERA and 142 strikeouts in 128 innings.

She finished her career with a .440 batting average, 24 home runs, and 122 RBI.

In the circle, she was 54-43 with 657 strikeouts. Papineau has signed to continue playing softball at Frontier College.

While softball is not a classed sport in Kentucky, the state’s coaches use the three-class enrollment numbers from track and field to determine its All-State honors. Voting is conducted by members of the Kentucky Softball Coaches Association.
