Avery Adcock Voted Region Softball Player of the Year

Avery Adcock continues to pile up the accolades following her senior season at Christian County.

The University of Missouri signee was named the Second Region Player of the Year by the Kentucky High School Softball Coaches Association.

Adcock hit .568 in 2025 – her third straight season that she finished at .500 or better. She hit 13 home runs and drove in 27 runs from the leadoff position while stealing 36 bases without being thrown out.

For her career, Adcock hit .482 with 39 home runs and 156 RBI. She had 55 doubles and stole 127 bases. While her 39 homers were the fourth most in school history, they rank as the sixth-most in Second Region history.

The last Christian County player voted region player of the year was Pickle Winkler in 2022.
