No. 10, leading just 1-0, the Lyon County Lyons broke open the regional baseball championship game with a three-run rocket off the bat of Peyton Williams.
No. 11, Heritage Christian Academy senior Jason Leek built quite the archive of buzzer beaters through the years, and on February 21, he added another one. With a half-second left, Leek hit a shot just inside the half-court line to give the Warriors a 40-38 win at Community Christian and earn Leek this Max’s Moment.

No. 12, Madisonville-North Hopkins’ Hannah McKinsey sent the home crowd home happy and the Lady Maroons home with a region championship trophy when she sealed the win in the penalty kick round and earned this Max’s Moment.
At No. 13, it was a long time coming, but the Trigg County Lady Wildcats finally have a fast-pitch softball district title on the program’s resume. Watch the final out and celebration in this Max’s Moment.
No. 14 comes from the Boys 7th District Basketball Tournament, where a mad scramble led to a Kanyon Johnson dunk for Madisonville and the district championship.
At No. 15, make a layup, a free throw, and a 3-pointer before your opponent. That was the challenge for the Ezell brothers — Jacob, the Hopkinsville High School athletic director, and Chris, the Trigg County High football coach.

At No. 17, trailing 2-1 late in the girls’ region soccer championship, Madisonville-North Hopkins sophomore Macy Wright found herself in the right place at the right time when she redirected a kick for the tying goal.
At No. 18, Joshuan Bridges came off the bench to score 11 points for Trigg County in their district win at Crittenden County in January. He ended the third quarter with a long and high-arcing 3-pointer that earned him this Max’s Moment.
At No. 19, Lance Breckel’s 3-pointer from the top of the key gave Trigg County a walk-off 52-51 win over Todd County Central in the first week of the basketball season. Two angles of the game-winner form this Max’s Moment.
At No. 20, four strong legs and a late surge from Harlow Hampton saw University Heights Academy win the 4×400 relay at the KHSAA State Indoor Track and Field Meet on March 5 in Louisville.
