
The Fort Campbell Falcons look to continue their resurgence on the football field with a 2025 schedule that features six home games and a new slate of district opponents.
The Falcons were 5-5 last season under head coach Henry Mitchell and secured a home game in the postseason.
Fort Campbell’s first preseason scrimmage will be Aug. 8 at Marshall County before an annual jamboree on Aug. 15.
The first two opponents on the Falcons’ schedule are neighbors from Clarksville. Fort Campbell will play at Northwest on Aug. 22 and host the Clarksville Academy on Aug. 29.
The Falcons opened the 2024 season with a 35-16 loss to the Vikings at Fryar Stadium, but haven’t played the Academy since 2000.
Fort Campbell will travel to Fort Knox for the annual Army Bowl on Friday, Sept. 5. The Falcons won last year’s game 50-12 and have won 19 of the last 21 meetings with the Eagles.
The Falcons will return home to host Hopkins County Central on Sept. 12. The Storm have won all five meetings between the schools, including last year’s game, 34-32 in Mortons Gap.
Fort Campbell plays the first of five straight district games on Sept. 19 against Todd County Central. The Rebels won three straight in the series from 2019-22, but Fort Campbell has won the last two meetings. The Falcons rolled to a 52-12 win last year.
The Falcons will play at Caldwell County on Sept. 26. It was the Tigers who ended Fort Campbell’s season in the first round of the playoffs last year with a 51-22 win at Fryar Stadium.
Caldwell County has won 10 straight games in the series dating back to a 56-7 Fort Campbell win in the first round of the 2009 playoffs.
Trigg County comes to Fryar Stadium on Oct. 3 to renew the annual series with the Falcons. Trigg won last year’s game 35-26 in Cadiz and has won seven straight against the Falcons. Fort Campbell still leads the all-time series 30-20.
The Falcons will host White Station High of Memphis on Oct. 10 in their final non-district contest. The Class 6A Spartans were 3-8 last season.
Fort Campbell will return to district competition on Oct. 17 when it hosts Crittenden County. The only time the schools have met in the past 25 years was in the 2019 season opener, won by the Rockets 43-14.
The Falcons round out the regular season on Oct. 24 against Mayfield. The Cardinals have won eight straight games against the Falcons, with the last meeting in 2022. Fort Campbell’s last win in the series came in 2008.
Fort Campbell’s bye week will be the final week of the season.
