
Talon Sanchez owns four state track and field medals and three Livingston Central school records. What makes that feat even more impressive is that Livingston Central doesn’t have a track, which means the upcoming senior has to practice his hurdle events with a flair of creativity and opportunity.
After a second-place finish in the 300-meter hurdles and a fifth-place finish in the 110-meter hurdles at the Class A state meet in Lexington, Sanchez discussed his preparation and expectations for next season on the track.
