
Landon Hunt equaled a tournament record score to win the GO Junior Golf Series Southern Championship on Thursday at the Hopkinsville Golf and Country Club.
The McCracken County senior who has committed to Murray State University shot a 5-under par 66 to win by seven shots. Hunt shot a 34 on the front nine and came in with a 3-under 32.
A pair of Madisonville golfers finished in second and third place as Tyler Bryan shot a 2-over 73, and Jake Witherspoon carded a 74.
