Ella Perry of Hopkinsville won the Girls 11-12 Division of the GO Junior Series Southern Championship on Thursday
A pair of Henderson County golfers finished 1-2 in the upper division of the GO Junior Golf Series Southern Championship on Thursday at the Hopkinsville Golf and Country Club.
Ainsley Dalton shot an 86 to defeat Meryl Grogan by five shots. University Heights Academy sophomore Campbell Lindsey was third with a 92, and Lucy Whitfield of Henderson was fourth with a 100.
McCracken County’s Harper Hunt shot an 83 to win the 13-15 division and posted the low girls’ score of the day. Molly Amos of Beaver Dam finished in second place with a score of 86.
Hopkinsville’s Ella Perry won the 11-12 division with a 44 on the front nine. Adalyn Robinson of Dixon was second with a 67.
