The Trigg County cheerleaders are up and running in preparation for the fall sports season. The squad spent time this week taking part in the UCA camp at Marshall County High School.

During their week, the Trigg cheerleaders picked up several awards and recognitions. Those included:

Leadership Award
Sportsmanship Award
Camp Routine 2nd Place
Pyramids 2nd Place
Sideline & Cheer Overall 3rd Place
Camp Routine Evaluation Blue Ribbon
Spirit Stick

There were Pin-it-Forward recipients selected by UCA staff and camp athletes for encompassing overall cheerleader qualities. Trigg County High School’s Madi Moser was among those selected for that honor.

All Americans were selected by staff during All-American tryouts to have the opportunity to perform in a UCA special event, such as the Philadelphia Thanksgiving Parade, London New Year’s Parade, or Hawaii Parade. Two Trigg County High cheerleaders were recognized with that honor, those being Kaytee Birdsong and Taylin Hancock.
