
Despite a tough regular season, the Madisonville Miners have been recognized for having some of the best talent in the Ohio Valley League. The Miners had five players names to the 2025 All-OVL Team, which was announced Thursday afternoon.
The players on the team were nominated and elected by the OVL head coaches.
The Miners who made the 2025 team are:
Pete Britton – Infield
Coulter Hamilton – Infield
Nazhir Bergen – Outfield
Noah Berning – DH
Caden Wooldridge – Pitcher
Britton is hitting .302 with 32 hits, 5 doubles, one home run, and 15 RBIs.
Hamilton is hitting .333 with 43 hits, 6 doubles, one triple, one home run, and 23 RBIs.
Bergen has a .321 batting average with 18 hits, 6 doubles, one triple and 3 home runs.
Berning is just below the .300 mark with a .298 average. He has 37 hits, 7 doubles, and 6 home runs.
Wooldridge has pitched 29.1 innings on the season through Thursday, appearing in 8 games and starting five. He is 2-2 with one save and an ERA of 2.76. He has 37 strikeouts and 17 walks.
