While 7-on-7 play is primarily viewed as an offensive tool, Madisonville-North Hopkins coach Chris Price likes to use the games to get a good look at his defense. The Maroons also have a quarterback competition, which allows Price to evaluate both candidates for the starting job.
The Maroons are slated to play in Friday’s West Kentucky FCA 7-on-7 event at Murray State University.
