After a loss and a tie on Saturday’s first day of the Bluegrass State Soccer Games in Lexington, the Trigg County Wildcats ended with their second tie in as many days.
James Garnett took a feed from Matt Choate for Trigg’s lone score of the contest against Boyd County on Sunday. Trigg missed several one-on-one chances to break the game open, giving coach Kyle Bleidt a topic to address in practice in the coming weeks.
Trigg County finished its three games 0-1-2 and was outscored 5-3.
The Wildcats will open the 2025 season on August 11 at Graves County.
