The Madisonville-North Hopkins girls’ golf team competed in their first invitational of the season on Tuesday and finished in seventh place at Marshall County.
Reagan Ramsey had a score of 109 to finish in 37th place.
Harper Frizzell was two shots back in 38th place.
Emma Duncan and A.J. Ratliff each shot a 118 to tie for 44th place.
Madisonville’s score of 456 was 18 shots behind sixth-place Union County.
Marshall County won the event with a team score of 326.
Tuesday’s match was played at the Calvert City Country Club with temperatures in the 90s and a heat index in the mid-90s. Although the weather approached the level of issuing a heat delay, play was not interrupted.
