Livingston Central sent four golfers to the opening tee box on Tuesday and came home with a ninth-place finish at the Marshall County Invitational.
Taylor Leahy led the Lady Cardinals with a 36th-place finish. She recorded a 53 on both sides of the Calvert City Country Club course.
Reese Palmer and Emma Belt each shot a 138 to finish tied for 54th place, while Amelia Ray shot a 142 to finish in 56th place.
Tuesday’s match was played at the Calvert City Country Club with temperatures in the 90s and a heat index in the mid-90s. Although the weather approached the level of issuing a heat delay, play was not interrupted.
