Christian County senior Drew Fincham had the best round of the day Wednesday afternoon for the Colonels’ golf team. The Colonels were at the Madisonville Country Club taking part in the Hopkins County Central Storm Invitational.
Fincham finished his round with a score of 85 to lead Christian County.
Ryan Stokes, of Marshall County, took medalist honors with a 70. Landon Hunt, of McCracken County was one shot back with a 71.
Christian County ended up in 17th place in the team competition with a team score of 395.
McCracken County won the team competition with a 295. Marshall County was second at 305 and Owensboro Catholic’s A squad was third with a 319 team score.
