
Hopkins County Central freshman Sawyer Allen is the only player from the Second Region taking part in the 2025 Prep Baseball Junior Future games this week in Georgia.
The Kentucky Junior team plays games on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at LakePoint Sports in Emerson, Georgia.
The 12th annual invitation-only event features the best identified 2029-2030 prospects from across the Prep Baseball Coverage Area in a four-day event at LakePoint Sports. Participants will be given the unique opportunity of competing against other top-level players while representing their respective state in a high-level atmosphere.
This event will run in conjunction with the PBR Future Games.
This one-of-a-kind event will include individual workouts and a 4-game guarantee with single elimination bracket play to determine a champion in each age group.
On Thursday, all position players underwent a showcase workout.
As an 8th grader in 2025, the Storm catcher played in 26 games and hit .240 for the season.
