University Heights Academy had two golfers finish in the top 20 as part of a third-place team finish at the Trigg County Invitational on Thursday at Boots Randolph Golf Course.
Cal Givens shot a 9-over 81 to finish tied for 13th place, while Nash McAfee carded an 82 to finish tied for 15th place.
Hayden Hunt finished just outside the top 20 as his round of 85 was good for 21st place.
Marshall County’s Ryan Stokes and Stewart County’s Haydon Howell each shot a 1-over par 73 to finish tied for the top spot, with Howell taking first place on a scorecard playoff.
Marshall County (299) took the team title, with South Warren (324) finishing second and UHA (334) in third place.
The Blazers fielded two teams in the event. Waylon Johnson led the way on the ‘B’ team with a 36th-place finish after shooting a 95.
