Brenna Breitrick’s top-five finish paced Lyon County at Thursday’s Trigg County Invitational at Boots Randolph Golf Course.
Breitrick shot a 93 to finish in fourth place. Shelby Stewart of Stewart County, Tennessee, won the event with a 1-under-par 71, which was four shots better than Trigg County’s Emma Dowell.
Jenna Coursey added a 108 for Lyon County, which placed her seventh.
The event was originally scheduled for Wednesday but was bumped a day due to an extreme heat advisory. On Thursday, the tourney was delayed an hour due to thunderstorms.
