
With the start of the volleyball season just over two weeks away, four 2nd Region teams took to the court for some preseason action Saturday at Hopkins County Central. The host Lady Storm, Madisonville-North Hopkins, Hopkinsville, and Webster County, all got in some competitive action.
The teams each played a share of the three allowed hours and got two scrimmages each.
In the opener, Webster County won two sets against the Lady Maroons. Madisonville was leading 5-4 in the third set when the time limit arrives.
Hopkinsville and Hopkins County Central were up next for their 45 minutes of action. Each team won one set before time expired, with Hopkinsville leading in the third set 8-5 when the scrimmage ended.

The Lady Tigers were right back on the court in the third match taking on Madisonville-North Hopkins. The Lady Maroons won two sets. The Lady Tigers were leading 5-4 when the time limit expired.
The last contest had the Hopkins County Central Lady Storm battling Webster County. Webster County won the opening set and was leading 22-21 in the second set when the time limit ended the match.
