
Three rounds in the 70s helped Madisonville-North Hopkins claim a fifth-place finish in the team standings during Tuesday’s Marshall County Invitational at Calvert City Golf and Country Club.
Trayson Raymer tied for seventh individually with a 74.
Jake Witherspoon and Max Clayton each carded rounds of 77.
Spencer Munchbach shot an 84 and Tyler Bryan finished at 86.
That gave the Maroons a team score of 312.
McCracken County took the team title at 287 while Marshall County was runner-up at 300.
Murray totaled a 307 while Greenwood shot 308.
Marshall’s Ryan Stokes and McCracken’s Evan Hack carded the low individual rounds of the day at 71. Stokes claimed medalist honors by birdying the first hole of a playoff.
