The Madisonville-North Hopkins Maroons soccer team took on the Murray High Tigers in a scrimmage on Tuesday evening, but they ran into them on a day where their offense was on fire.

The Tigers scored four goals in the first half and three in the second, which led to them winning the game 7-0.

The junior varsity team was able to have a bit more success, as they won two goals to one. The team’s two scores came from Gavin Quinn and Landon Walker.

The positive thing about this is that the Maroons did this in a scrimmage, which means they can learn from it and improve on whatever they need to in order to be ready for the start of the regular season when it comes next week.
