Union County put four golfers in the top 13 and claimed the Class 2A sectional championship on Wednesday at the Lakeshore Country Club in Madisonville.
Reagan Pinkston led the Bravettes with a score of 95, good for sixth place. Elizabeth Hancock was one shot back and tied for seventh place.
Lilly Moman shot a 98 to place 10th, and Kinlee Kitchens shot a 100 to finish in 13th place.
Maycee Gray shot a 103 to finish in 16th place.
Paducah Tilghman’s McCall Moore took medalist honors with a 72.
Union County’s score of 389 was 17 shots ahead of second-place Webster County.
The Bravettes will play in the Class 2A State Championship on Sept. 7-8 in Owensboro.
