The Madisonville-North Hopkins Lady Maroons soccer team took on the Calloway County Lady Lakers in a scrimmage on Thursday evening, and the latter was able to keep their offense hot from their last game.
Calloway scored two very quick goals, and was able to use that momentum to get six more and end the game at halftime with a score of 8-0. The Lady Maroons had five saves and three shots on goal, as the Lady Lakers were able to keep the ball on their half of the field for a good majority of the game.
This is a Calloway team who is on fire, so Madisonville going against them in a scrimmage can be a good learning experience for when the regular season starts very soon.
YSE was there to get some shots from some early soccer action.
