
Hopkinsville continued its consistent start to the 2025 golf season with a 12th-place finish on Thursday at the Hopkinsville Golf and Country Club Invitational.
Hoptown’s top four golfers all finished within 10 shots of each other.
Henry Riggs shot a round of 85 to finish tied for 44th place. He finished the front nine with a birdie on No. 9 as part of a 38 going out.
Isaiah Wood finished tied for 51st place with a 15-over par. Ryan Martin tied for 58th place with a 92 that included a birdie on No. 4.
Sam Riggs tied for 66th place with a round of 95, and Matt Baker carded a 97 that was part of a 70th-place finish.
Marshall County’s Ryan Stokes shot a 2-under par 69 to claim the individual title. His round included a pair of birdies on each side of the course.
Hopkinsville’s team total was 359, good for 12th place. McCracken County took the team title with a 294.
