With the start of the high school volleyball season just over a week away, the Todd County Central Lady Rebels spent Saturday getting in some time on the court. The Lady Rebels were in Bowling Green, taking part in the Mid-South Scrimmages.
The Lady Rebels opened the day taking on 5th Region opponent Marion County. The Lady Knights picked up a 2-0 win, taking the sets 25-9 and 25-16.
Todd County Central returned to the court against Somerset. The Lady Rebels and the Lady Briarjumpers split two sets, with Todd Central winning the first set 25-17 and Somerset coming back to win the second 25-19.
The varsity Lady Rebels closed out their day taking on Edmonson County. This time, Todd County Central won both sets 25-21 and 25-9.
The Lady Rebels are set to scrimmage McLean County Tuesday evening in Elkton and then open the season August 19 at Muhlenberg County.
