Madisonville teams took 2nd place and 4th place at last Friday’s Union County Invitational, while the Maroons also had two of the top five finishers on the day.
Individually, Jake Witherspoon and Tyler Bryan were among four players tied for second place with rounds of 74. Muhlenberg County’s Cy Tudor took medalist honors with a round of 72.
The Maroons’ A team ended up in second place with a team score of 301. That was just two shots behind Owensboro Catholic, who won with total of 299.
The Madisonville-North Hopkins B team took 4th place with a 321,
