A team score of 320 was good enough for a tie for seventh place for University Heights Academy golfers during Saturday’s Paducah Tilghman Invitational.
Cal Givens recorded a 3-over-par 74 to lead the Blazers on the Paxton Park Golf Course, That earned him a tie for ninth place individually.
Hayden Hunt carded a 6-over 77 to finish in a tie for 19th.
Hugh Sisk had an 82 to tie for 37th.
Noah McAfee and Court Gibson each shot 87 and tied for 52nd out of over 100 golfers in the field.
Landon Hunt of McCracken County was medalist at 2-under 69. He edged teammate Dallas Vinson, who was runner-up at 1-under 70.
McCracken County won the team title at 1-over 285. Marshall County was runner-up at 299.
