Lyon County’s Cohen Wiggins claimed medalist honors with a 2-over-par 38 as the Lyons took a golf match from Caldwell County Monday at Princeton Golf Club.
The Lyons had a team score of 163 while the Tigers shot 198.
Cooper Collins carded a 39 for the Lyons while Jonah Ramey shot a 42, Carson Collins 44 and Jimmy Cowan 51.
For Caldwell, Landon Mitchell carded the low round with a 43. Scott Cortner shot a 49, Presten Alfred 52, Lukas Harper 54 and Brody Kirk 64.
Both teams had additional individual players in the contest.
For Lyon, Jake Brown shot a 46, Trace Elliott 52, Kinley Clapp 54, Landon Crouch 58 and Dax Conger 62.
For Caldwell, Cohen Schott carded a 57, Braydon Schott and Max Hooks each had a 59 and Brandon Hall had a 62.
Each school also had three girls in action on Monday.
Brenna Breitrick and Jenna Coursey each shot 44 for Lyon to tie for medalist honors. Carman Phillips had a 53.
For Caldwell, Bryleigh Jordan shot 64, Brylee Boitnott 66 and Hayden Hall 67.
