The Christian County Lady Colonels soccer team kicked off their season at home on Monday evening against the Crittenden County Lady Rockets, but it did not go the way that they would have hoped.
The Lady Colonels’ defense could just never find their footing against the offense of Crittenden, as they ended up losing 7-1. The offense was never really able to get going as a result with just seven shots on net, and their only goal coming from an own goal.
Christian County will be looking to get back on the right track early in the season in their next game on Thursday, August 14, against Logan County on the road. The game is scheduled to begin at 5:30 p.m.
