Hopkins County Central dropped a preseason scrimmage to Hancock County 27-7 Friday night in Mortons Gap.
The contest was tied 7-7 at halftime.
The highlight of the first half for the Storm came when Tyler Matheny hauled in a 17-yard touchdown pass from Sylas Gunn.
