Another top five finish for the Madisonville-North Hopkins Maroons golf team Saturday. The Maroons shot a team score of 22-over-par for the day at the Graves County Invitational at the Drake Creek Golf Club.
That team score placed the Maroons in 5th place for the day. McCracken County took 1st place honors with a team 1-under-par. Marshall County was three shots back in second place. Bardstown took third place with a 17-over-par.
Individually, Spencer Munchback led the Maroons with a 4-over par, 76, for the day, putting him in a tie for 14th place.
Bardstown’s Chase Huff took medalist honors with a 69. Landon Hunt, Tanner Kight, both of McCracken County, and Ryan Stokes, of Marshall County, tied for second with rounds of 70.
