
Meryl Grogan finished in fourth place at Saturday’s Graves County Golf Invitational played at Drake Creek Golf Club.
Grogan shot a 4-over par 76 to finish seven shots off the lead. Her round included four birdies as she shot a 1-over par 37 on the front nine.
Ainsley Dalton shot an 87 to finish in 28th place. Lucy Whitfield tied for 34th place with a 94, and Cameron Davis finished 43rd with a 101.
Marshall County’s Trinity Beth, who has committed to Georgia, and Ballard Memorial’s Madison Glisson, a Xavier University commit, each shot a 3-under 69, with Beth winning on the first playoff hole.
As a team, Henderson County finished in seventh place at +70, one shot behind sixth-place Graves County and two shots behind fifth-place Ohio County. Marshall County edged Bowling Green by one shot to claim the team trophy.
