University Heights Academy standout athlete Hayden Hunt has decided on both a college sport and a college, committing to the Indiana State baseball program over the weekend.
Hunt was 3-3 for the Blazers in 2025 with a 1.82 ERA and 44 strikeouts in 34 innings pitched. He was especially dominant against district competition, hurling a no-hitter against Hopkinsville and striking out 13 in the district championship win over Christian County.
At the plate, he hit .405 with three home runs and 20 RBI.
Hunt is also a standout for the soccer and golf programs at UHA.
Hunt heads to an Indiana State program two years after a 44-15 record and an NCAA Tournament appearance. Last year, the Sycamores slipped to a 24-31 record.
