The Trigg County Wildcats soccer team took on the Muhlenberg County Mustangs on the road on Tuesday evening. Unfortunately, their game was cut a bit short due to lightning and storms in the area.
The only goal of the game was scored by the Mustangs, and the game was decided with 25 minutes left due to lightning. This gave Muhlenberg their third win of the season with a very low score of 1-0.
Trigg County will be looking to bounce back in their next game on Thursday, August 21, against the Hopkins County Central Storm at home. The game is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. at the Trigg COUnty Recreational Complex.
