The Todd County Lady Rebels soccer team played their first game of the season against the Logan County Lady Cougars, but it did not go the way that they would have hoped.
The Lady Rebels got plenty of offensive opportunities throughout the course of the game, as Jaidyn Holland and Varina Rager had 11 shots combined. Unfortunately, they were not able to capitalize on any of those chances.
Nobody scored until the last 18 minutes of the game, but that is when the Lady Cougars were able to break it open and score two goals. That was all they needed, as they were able to close the game out and win 2-0.
Todd County will be looking to get their first win of the season in their next game on the road against McLean County. The game is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m.
