The McLean County Lady Cougars got a big night from Landrey Humphrey Thursday evening. Humphrey scored both goals as the Lady Cougars turned back the Todd County Central Lady Rebels 2-1 in Calhoun.
The win was the third in four matches for the Lady Cougars, whose only loss was an 8-0 shutout at the hands of Ohio County.
Ellie Robles scored the only goal for Todd County Central, the first goal of the season for the Lady Rebels, who were blanked 2-0 by Logan County in their season opener.
The Lady Rebels had chances to pull even with McLean County but could not get the ball to find the back of the net.
Todd County Central (0-2) gets back to work Saturday morning when they go on the road to take on Monroe County in the 4th Region All A Classic.
