University Heights Academy placed four golfers in the top seven and repeated as Second Region All A Classic golf champions on Thursday.
Cal Givens, last year’s individual region champion, placed second at the Cullan at Mineral Mound State Park. He shot a 6-over par 78 to finish three shots behind the winner, Lyon County’s Carson Collins.
Hayden Hunt finished in fourth place with a round of 80, while Bryson Turner tied for fifth place with an 84. Courtland Gibson tied for seventh place with an 86. Hugh Sisk rounded out scoring with a 94, good for 14th place.
UHA’s team score of 328 was 13 shots better than second-place Lyon County.
It was the Blazers’ second straight region title and third in six years. The All A Classic State Golf Tournament will be played Sept. 6 at Gibson Bay Golf Course in Richmond, where UHA finished in 13th place.
