Caldwell County Blanks Christian County 8-0 (w/PHOTOS)

The Christian County Colonels soccer team went into their game against the Caldwell County Tigers looking for their first win of the season. But it was the latter that was able to take control of the game and assert their control.

The Tigers wasted no time scoring their goals, as they were able to score eight unanswered and end the game 8-0 with less than four minutes left in the game.

As for the Colonels, Preston Gentry had 11 saves, but three penalty kicks took a toll on Christian County.

They will be looking to bounce back in their next game on Monday, August 25, against the Trigg County Wildcats at home. The game is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m.

As for Caldwell, they will be hoping that this win can begin a streak. Their next game will be at home against Henderson County on Thursday, August 28. Their game is set to begin at 7:15 p.m.
